Brilliant professor Karl Hendryk is torn between his ailing wife, Anya, and her friend and cousin, Lisa. The arrival of a manipulative and attractive young student, Helen, further complicates matters.
One of the rare dramas written specifically for the stage by Christie, Verdict is NOT a murder mystery –  although a murder does take place. The story becomes a ‘whydunit’, as opposed to a ‘whodunit’, raising many questions of morality along the way.

Directed by Mike Seccombe & Karl Eckstrand

Cast: Rob Kwade, Marleen Jonker, Bernard Boland, Andrea Marantz, Sami Desiree, Hayden Maines, Carol Stephens, Neil Johnson & Craig Oliphant

"Love isn't just glamour, desire, sex appeal – that's nature's start of the whole business. It's the showy flower, if you like. But love's the root."
