Playwright
Kat Sandler is an award-winning screenwriter, playwright and director. Onstage her most recent work includes; Yaga (Tarragon); The Party and The Candidate (Citadel); and Late Night. Her play Mustard (Tarragon) won the Best New Play Dora Award, Bang Bang and Yaga were nominated as well. She won the Austen Film Festival’s Fiction Podcast Award for How To Build a Fire. Kat attended the CFC/EOne’s inaugural Adaptation Lab. She has written for Kim’s Convenience and podcasts for The Koffler Centre, CBC’s PlayMe and TwoUp’s Limetown. She has various on-camera projects in development with eOne, TB Content and the Donaldson Company.

OTHER THEATRE MJ Dandeneau is an accomplished bassist, director, sound designer, composer and producer. She has worked and toured with various artists worldwide for the past 18 years. MJ has worked on Charlie Brown’s Double Bill, Torn Through Time, Tiny Treasure, Frozen River (MTYP); Katharsis, The War Being Waged, Ponderosa Pine, Space Girl (PTE); Songide’ewin (Sarasvàti) and La Liste (TCM). She continues to compose for short films and tours the globe with various projects along the way.
ET CETERA MJ is a French Métis and Anishinaabe woman from the Red River Nation. Her mother side comes from the Métis Red River Valley and her father side comes from Penetanguishene, Treaty 61. She is very excited and honoured to be part of this production, once again, under the talented Director, Ann Hodges. Miigwech!
