Here is what past Student Placement participants have said about their experience:

"My set and costume student placement at Manitoba Theatre Centre was one I will remember for a long time and helped me to appreciate the backstage work rather than just the piece that is presented in the end. I believe this opportunity is something any high school student driven in the arts would love and I would easily tell my peers to apply. Overall, my experience was a very positive one that really inspired me to appreciate theatre as a whole and recognize that its more than just acting that goes into a piece of live theatre."

"A big part of it was setting up before the show and going through the pre-show checklist. My favourite part was sitting back and watching how the show was being run and being able to watch what happens as the show is going on during a bigger production. It was a chance that I was very excited about and I enjoyed the whole thing!" - Stage management student placement participant
