The Sons of Ibsen

Manitoba Association of Playwrights - Rory Runnells Studio

Wheelchair accessible
Capacity 40

Ibsen had two sons: one became Prime Minister of Norway, the other scraped by as a blacksmith. Sigurd lived his life vying for his father's affections. Hans remained unrecognized and obscure. Their letters to their father reveal all. Note: the playwright has imagined these letters for the telling of the tale. Join us before the Warehouse production. We're just up the street.

"Dear brute, Are your pockets so empty you can't spare a coin? I'm hungry. Your son is skin and bones."

Director: Leigh-Anne Kehler
