DIGITAL CONTENT – FAQs

 

How will I get access to the Digital content?

Once you sign up, you’ll receive a confirmation email. You’ll also receive follow-up emails with relevant links. If you don’t receive an email confirmation, please contact the Box Office at boxoffice@royalmtc.ca. Don’t forget to check your spam folder!

Do I have to have a Royal MTC account to watch the programming?

Yes, you do! If you're having trouble accessing your online account or you're not sure if you have an online account, please reach out to the Box Office at 204 942 6537 or boxoffice@royalmtc.ca.
 

WHAT IS my login?

Your login is the email address you use to access your royalmtc.ca account.
 

Can I pause the recording if I need to?

Yes! The programming is pre-recorded so you can pause and come back whenever you want.
 

How do I make the video full screen?

Click on the partial box icon Full-screen-image.png in the show window and enjoy the performance full screen.
 

How long do I have to watch tHE programming?

You can watch the virtual content as many times as you like, and at any time of day, starting from the program's listed time to Saturday, March 19 at 11:59pm. Unfortunately, the virtual content cannot be downloaded or viewed offline.
 

Can I book a ticket for a friend?

In order to watch the programming, each household needs a ticket booked under their Royal MTC account. Have your friend visit our website or call the Box Office at 204 942 6537 to buy a ticket.
 

Can I watch on my TV/phone or do I have to watch on my computer?

We suggest a larger screen for the best viewing experience but any device should work, as long as you can login to your Royal MTC account. Please remember that virtual programming must be viewed in a web browser.
 

How do I WATCH the programming on my TV?

Virtual programming must be viewed in a web browser, whether that's on a computer, tablet, mobile device or smart TV. It may be possible to view on your TV depending on your device or TV.  Some devices can “cast”, “mirror” or “pair” with each other. YouTube has some helpful videos and tips on how to connect your devices.
 

Are Closed Captions available?

Yes! Just click the CC icon on the video and closed captioning will appear on the screen.
 

WHAT WEB BROWSER WORKS BEST TO VIEW DIGITAL CONTENT?

While we have tested our digital content on all browsers, we've received feedback that Chrome, Safari or Microsoft Edge seem to work the most smoothly. Older browsers such as Internet Explorer or Firefox may not work quite as well.
 

I’M HAVING TROUBLE WITH VIDEO PLAYBACK. WHAT CAN I DO?

We suggest clearing your cookies, refreshing the page or re-logging into the website. We also recommend trying a different browser or a different device to see if that solves any issues.  If you're still having trouble, please contact the Box Office at 204 942 6537 or boxoffice@royalmtc.ca.
 

I’M HAVING TROUBLE WITH MY PASSWORD OR LOGGING INTO MY ACCOUNT. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

If you're having problems with your password or logging into the website, please contact the Box Office at 204 942 6537 or boxoffice@royalmtc.ca. Our helpful staff can walk you through the process.
