Relaxed Performance

MADE IN ITALY
Sunday, March 10

Royal MTC is proud to be offering a relaxed performance of Made in Italy. Relaxed Performances are designed to welcome audience members who would benefit from a more relaxed environment, including (but not limited to) those with sensory sensitivities, learning differences, autism spectrum disorder, and first-time theatregoers. Minor production changes are made to reduce startling effects and there is a relaxed attitude towards audience noise and movement. We invite all patrons to come, be themselves and experience live theatre!

The modifications vary depending on the production, and may include: reducing the volume of loud noises and effects, reducing or eliminating strobe effects, and keeping the house lights slightly brighter in case a patron needs to leave the theatre. The story and the artistic integrity of the production will not change. Quiet spaces will be available for patrons who need to take a break.

You can download our Made in Italy Visual Guide, a step-by-step guide about what to expect when coming to the theatre. Hard copies are also available for pick up at our box office.
