DIGITAL TICKETS

Introducing the Royal MTC Digital Wallet!

We’re excited to make your ticketing experience even easier with our new digital ticket wallet! Now, you can access, manage and share your tickets hassle-free — no extra app required.

WHERE DO I FIND MY TICKETS?

  1. Login to your account in the Royal MTC Digital Wallet to access the tickets from the home screen.
  2. Go to my.royalmtc.ca and enter the email address used to buy or receive shared tickets.
  • No password is required but you'll be prompted to enter a 6-digit access code that will be sent to your email from no-reply@my.royalmtc.ca. Your code may take up to 5 minutes to arrive. Don’t forget to check your junk folder!
  • Your ticket is ready to be scanned when the QR code automatically appears 48 hours before the show. For your security, the QR code refreshes every 30 seconds, so screenshots and printed copies will not work for entry.
  • Don't forget your phone as your mobile device is your ticket.
  • Mobile data is required to view your tickets. If you cannot access the internet, please visit the Box Office to print your tickets.
  • If you have any trouble finding your tickets at the venue, feel free to visit the Box Office or ask one of our friendly ushers for assistance.

ARE MY MOBILE OR PRINTED TICKETS STILL VALID?
Any tickets in your possession before Monday, December 9 at noon – printed or mobile – remain valid for entry.

CAN I PRINT MY DIGITAL TICKETS AND BRING THEM TO THE PERFORMANCE?
No, do not print your digital tickets. The rotating QR code refreshes every 30 seconds and must be viewed live on a screen to be scanned. Screenshots or printouts will not be accepted at entry.

MY ROTATING QR CODE DISAPPEARED AFTER IT WAS DELIVERED? WHAT DO I DO?
Refresh the webpage you're on and the rotating QR code will display again.

WHY DO YOU DELAY DISPLAYING MY QR CODE UNTIL RIGHT BEFORE THE PERFORMANCE?
Our rotating QR code is delivered within 48 hours of your performance start time as a deterrent to those who may attempt to counterfeit tickets.

CAN I ADD MY DIGITAL TICKETS TO MY APPLE WALLET?
Yes! Digital tickets can be downloaded to your Apple wallet. Coming soon! Android users will be able to add to their wallets.

HOW DO I SHARE MY TICKETS?

Share your tickets securely and easily with the new Royal MTC Digital Wallet.

  1. Locate the ticket(s) you want to transfer and tap SHARE.
  2. Enter the name of the recipient in the name field and select the ticket(s) to SHARE and tap NEXT.
  3. Tap CONFIRM and then tap SHARE WITH YOUR GUEST to generate an access link to send to the recipient via your preferred method (eg. text, email, messaging apps).
  4. Tap I’M DONE after the link is successfully sent.
  5. Once your guest accepts the tickets, the share is complete. The tickets are now in their account in their newly created Royal MTC Digital Wallet.

HOW DO I KNOW IF MY GUEST HAS ACCEPTED THEIR TICKETS?
Once you share a digital ticket, you will see one of two statuses:

“Ticket Shared with [Name] Pending”
  • Your friend has not accepted the digital tickets yet.
  • You may want to remind them to check their email or text messages for the ticket invite link you sent them.
  • At this stage, you can also “Share the invite again” or “Get this ticket back” in your account.

“Ticket Accepted by [Name]”
  • Your guest has claimed the tickets.
  • At this stage, as the owner of the tickets, you can also “Get this ticket back” in your account if your guest is unavailable to attend.

WHAT’S THE BENEFIT OF SHARING DIGITAL TICKETS?
Sharing allows you to securely send tickets from your account to other people. Sharing allows everyone in your group to have their own ticket and enter at their own time! It’s convenient, safe and completely free.

WILL THE PERSON SHARING MY TICKETS NEED A ROYAL MTC TICKETING ACCOUNT?
Yes, and it takes just a few seconds to create one. If they already have a Royal MTC account, be sure your guest uses that email address and password to login to my.royalmtc.ca. If they don't have a Royal MTC account, they should click on the 'Register' button after following the link you shared. Once they've created an account, they can accept the shared tickets.

WHY DO I NEED TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT TO ACCEPT SHARED DIGITAL TICKETS?
Digital tickets are delivered through a secure website that links your Royal MTC account directly with the tickets you've received. Shared digital tickets are not valid until the recipient claims them, then they're moved to their secure ticket account.

CAN I SHARE DIGITAL TICKETS THAT HAVE BEEN SHARED WITH ME?
Yes! Once you accept the tickets, you're now the ticket holder. If you can’t use them, you can return them to the person who sent them or share them with anyone you want.

CAN I SHARE MY DIGITAL TICKETS BEFORE THE SECURE ROTATING QR CODE HAS BEEN DELIVERED AT THE DESIGNATED TIME AND DATE?
Click on the ticket you wish to share. If the 'Share Tickets' button is available, you can share them even if the secure QR code isn’t live yet.

CAN I SHARE MY DIGITAL TICKETS FROM MY DESKTOP COMPUTER?
Yes, you can, but we encourage you to use your mobile device as the process was designed for mobile use. If you still prefer to use your desktop, copy the link into an email and send it to your guest. The link will not display the tickets but will redirect your guest to a landing page where they can claim the tickets.

WILL THE PERSON WHO SENT THE DIGITAL TICKETS KNOW I ACCEPTED THEM?
Once you accept the tickets, the sender can see you've accepted them.

TROUBLESHOOTING

I LOST MY EMAIL/TEXT FOR MY TRANSFERRED TICKETS. WHAT DO I DO?
Ask the sender to resend the invite by clicking 'Share This Invite Again', which will generate a new link for you to claim the tickets. If you still have trouble finding the link, ask the owner to send it to you in a different format, such as text message rather than email.

I ACCEPTED THE TICKETS BUT CAN’T FIND THEM.
Do you have another Royal MTC ticketing account you might have used to accept the digital tickets? Were you using a device that was logged into another account? If you still have issues accessing your tickets, please call our Box Office at 204 942 6537 or email us at boxoffice@royalmtc.ca.
