We thank all our hardworking volunteers for everything they do to support live theatre. Royal MTC relies on hundreds of dedicated volunteers who donate their time as ushers from October through May. At more than 250 performances throughout the season, volunteer ushers greet patrons, take tickets, hand out programs and more.

Are you interested in becoming a volunteer usher? Complete the online application. Ushers volunteer at one consistent performance for each show (for example, the second Wednesday of the run, or the third Saturday matinee). Ushers are provided with training pertaining to their roles and responsibilities. We compile a waiting list and call upon new ushers when a spot opens up on one of the teams. We're currently welcoming new ushers.

Each year, the Winnipeg Fringe Theatre Festival relies on the help of more than 700 volunteers to make the festival happen. For information on volunteer opportunities at one of Winnipeg's largest summer events, visit
