Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre! Volunteers play an important role in every performance and are essential to the success of the theatre. Our volunteers come from many backgrounds but share a common passion for theatre and MTC’s mission. Volunteer opportunities for the 2026/27 Royal MTC season are now full, and we are no longer accepting applications for this season. We’re grateful for the community’s enthusiasm and support, and we encourage you to reach out or check back for future volunteer opportunities. Royal MTC volunteers are valued community ambassadors who primarily assist with Front of House duties before, during and after performances. Responsibilities include scanning tickets, handing out programs, helping patrons find their seats and light tidying. Volunteers also have the opportunity to watch the show during their shift while remaining attentive to any disturbances that staff should know about. Our volunteers are recognized for their contributions through invitations to attend dress rehearsals and the opportunity to connect with other like-minded theatre enthusiasts.
