Guilt is pesky. You can try to drown it with wine, push it down deep or wrestle it to the ground, but still it lingers. Guilt is the party guest who refuses to leave. Part stand-up, part confessional, Guilt takes us on a roller coaster ride through infidelity, divorce, forgiveness and love. This laugh-out-loud comedy by Diane Flacks combines her comic prowess, keen intelligence and fierce honesty. She has spent her career wowing audiences and we're pleased to welcome her to Winnipeg. Pack your bags, we’re going on a guilt trip!

For Tarragon: Theory of Relatives, By a Thread, Gravity Calling, Waiting Room, Sibs, Care. Also a member of Tarragon’s Playwrights Unit with Urjo Kareda and Andy McKim, and has appeared in and written for numerous Spring Arts Fairs. She appeared in the Canadian premiere tour of Fall On Your Knees (CS/NAC/Neptune/Grand, dir. Alisa Palmer); and in her third collaboration with Richard Greenblatt, PALS (WJT, dir. Jillian Keiley). She was the playwright and actor in Unholy (Nightwood, dir. Kelly Thornton). It was remounted three times, filmed, published and Dora Nominated. Diane appeared in the film 25 Questions for a Jewish Mother (by Judy Gold, dir. Krista Jackson, WJT); and as Nathan in Nathan the Wise at Stratford. She was Dora nominated for her performance in Body Politic (Buddies, dir. Alisa Palmer). Her four solo shows Myth Me, By A Thread, Random Acts and Bear With Me (adapted from her book) have been remounted internationally. Diane was CBC radio’s longtime national parenting columnist, and a feature columnist for The Star and the Globe among others. Diane writes/produces TV, including Workin’ Moms, Baroness von Sketch Show and Kids in the Hall – she was nominated for an Emmy. Diane has two boys and does HIIT like a boss. dianeflacks.com
