Imagine a winter in Winnipeg without warm clothing. For kids, having a coat, mitts, boots and scarf doesn’t only make the difference between being cold or comfortable—it can also make the difference between staying at home or going to school to learn. Being able to dress for our weather means kids can stay connected to friends during our city’s many cold months, and warm gear protects tiny fingers and toes from frostbite and other exposures to the elements. WHAT IS CONSIDERED WINTERWEAR? Koats for Kids only sends out items that are suitable for the coldest winter days. Donations of items such as fall jackets and hoodies are appreciated, but cause delays in getting orders to families in need. Kindly keep donations to items that you'd put on our your own loved ones on the coldest of days. TO DONATE: Donations are gratefully accepted at the Royal MTC Box Office, 174 Market Avenue. Ticket holders may also bring donations when attending Elf — The Musical. Thank you in advance for your generosity!
A friendly reminder from Buddy: Young people (and elves) come in all sizes, and there’s always a great need for winterwear for teens and young adults.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR DONATION!
