Available for viewing: March 3 – 19

In The Chemical Valley Project, theatre makers Julia Howman and Kevin Matthew Wong document Vanessa Gray and Beze Gray’s vital activism and journeys as Land Defenders and Water Protectors from Aamjiwnaang First Nation. Through an innovative blend of projection design, object puppetry and an engaging solo-performance, Kevin Matthew Wong performs this documentary theatre work (filmed in November 2020 at the FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre) that sparks conversations on environmental policy, treaty rights, Indigenous relations, and the complicated intersections of Canadian identity.

A livestreamed ASL-interpreted performance is available on Friday, March 18 7:30pm. Please register here to get the link to the ASL livestream
