What You Won’t Do For Love
A Film by Why Not Theatre
Originally Co-Presented and Produced with support from TO Live and Soulpepper
Sunday, March 6 at 2pm | Tom Hendry Warehouse
What You Won’t Do For Love
is an intimate glimpse inside the life, love and motivations of Canada’s most beloved environmentalist, David Suzuki. The film explores 50 years of the loving partnership between the award-winning and renowned environmentalists David Suzuki and Tara Cullis. The film introduces the audience to Tara, who has tirelessly and continually partnered with David on his activism and who steered the David Suzuki Foundation’s collective vision of a brighter tomorrow.
What You Won’t Do For Love
transforms real-life conversations between David, Tara, and theatre artists and real-life couple Miriam Fernandes and Sturla Alvsvaag, into a charmingly novel and poetic film.
A screening of the film will be followed by a Zoom Q&A with David Suzuki and Tara Cullis. ASL interpretation will be available for the film and Q&A.
Tickets for this event are $15 and can be purchased on the Royal MTC website.
